Rarely seen away from the Arctic. Maryland has just one record of this dreamy Arctic gull species. It was found by Gene Scarpulla at Back River WWTP in Baltimore Co. on 3/3/1990 and continued through 4/24/1990 (MD/DCRC #1991-004).
