Status

Possum Grape is predominantly a southern species and is common on the southern Maryland Coastal Plain.

Where To Find

The plant is usually found on river bottomlands (such as the Anacostia and Potomac), but it sometimes grows on moist to wet upland sites in the Piedmont.
