Triplax species in Montgomery Co., Maryland (8/31/2022). Confirmed by T. Hedlund/BugGuide. Likely either T. flavicolis or thoracica. (Need a ventral view to distinguish the species). Observer note – found near a recently bloomed oyster mushroom, genus Plerotus (at least that is my tentative ID of the fungus). They are known to be associated with those.
