Arrow Clubtail (Stylurus spiniceps) is an elongate clubtail of medium to large rivers with riffles (Paulson, 2011). Arrow Clubtail is considered common in Maryland, and ranges across much of the piedmont and coastal plain, but is apparently absent from the eastern shore (Richard Orr's The Dragonflies and Damselflies of Maryland and the District of Columbia).
