Status

Ashy Clubtail (Gomphus lividus) is a common, widespread eastern representative of the genus Phanogomphus, a large group of slender gomphids. This clubtail breeds in creeks and rivers with slower current (Paulson, 2011). In Maryland, Ashy Clubtail ranges across the state, and likely occurs in every county (Richard Orr's The Dragonflies and Damselflies of Maryland and the District of Columbia).
