Description

Cap: Yellow-brown to pinkish/reddish-brown; broad conic to flat with prominent umbo; smooth; striate; hygrophanous. Gills: White, becoming pinkish. Stalk: Whiteish/grayish; silky; twisted longitudinal lines; white mycelium-covered base; hollow (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where To Find

Scattered or clusters on ground or rotting logs in wet areas of conifers or mixed woods (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
